Our Story

The Messianic Israel Alliance began in 1999 as a gathering place for believers in Messiah who were awakening to their lost heritage as Israel. By connecting these believers, the MIA was able to birth relationships throughout the world. Those who once had lost their heritage now had a place they could call home; a place where both Jew and non-Jew could worship the God of Israel as equal brothers in Messiah.

Today, people from all nations and denominations are taking hold of the covenant God made through Yeshua our Messiah. He is leading them to a renewed faith, thereby fulfilling prophecy:

Behold, the days come, saith YHWH, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah… After those days, saith YHWH, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people (Jeremiah 31: 31-33 and Hebrew 8: 8-10).

As the Father works on the hearts of His people, questions and needs arise. Today, the MIA is meeting the need of individuals, families, Bible study groups, and congregations throughout the world. Lives are being transformed as Jews and non-Jews begin to walk in a deeper relationship with the King of Kings, Yeshua our Messiah. We are becoming “one new man” as we leave behind the traditions of man and walk in a lifestyle that honors His Word. As equal heirs of the promise given to Abraham, we embrace Israel and appreciate the unique calling and blessing on our lives. We are truly one people in Messiah: Israel.

These believers need good fellowship and good shepherds. Providing these are the goal of the Messianic Israel Alliance. We are building and supporting fellowship, leadership, and congregations throughout the world.

This grass-roots organization has grown into a service organization that is meeting the various needs of the people of God.  We have matured since our inception. Today, we are firmly fixed on Yeshua our Messiah and our mission.

Our Mission

All that we do is focused on one point – preparing the way for Messiah’s return.  Therefore our mission is:

To equip YHWH’s people for the restoration of all things. (Acts 3:21)

Scripture is clear that Messiah will not return until all things spoken by the prophets come to pass. This is a huge undertaking, and one that will not be accomplished until His people rise up and accept their calling and role in His Kingdom. Our mission is to equip Believers for this mighty work.

Our People

The MIA is here to serve. People from around the world have joined the MIA family. We share a common view of Scripture, and a common love of our Messiah, yet we are diverse and multifaceted.

We have solid leadership in a Shepherd’s Council and Advisory Council that realizes that the restoration of all things is an orderly process requiring vision and servant leadership.

You will find members of the MIA in various denominations and assemblies throughout the world.  Some remain part of the assembly that they have been in for years.  Others have begun their own home groups, fellowships, or congregations.

Our Purpose

The purpose of the MIA is to build up the various individuals and ministries who choose to be part of our organization by serving them. By doing so, we are able to affect the world for our God as those who are called by His Name rise up and assume their Biblical responsibilities.

An Invitation

We invite you to join our family. There are two levels of affiliation within the MIA – Friend and Ally. Tangible benefits are available depending on your level of affiliation (such as website listings, spiritual covering, ordinations, publications, and conference discounts).

The single greatest benefit of joining the MIA is our sense of community. YHWH calls His people to be one. The MIA has grown into a true community. We host regional reunions throughout the world to bring people together. MIA congregations are places of warmth and integrity where you can grow under shepherds who pour themselves out for you.

It is such a wonderful benefit to walk with a group of people who are firmly focused on Messiah and have a heart for Israel. Those in the MIA understand their role and responsibility as being part of the people of Israel.

Prayerfully consider joining our family and walking with us to Zion. Visit one of our conferences as our guest. Just call us to make the arrangements or to answer any questions you might have. You can find a local congregation in your area from our home page.

Shalom,
Scott Diffenderfer
