A Meeting Place for Messianic Believers

The Messianic Israel Forum is designed to help those of Messianic Israel address topics and/or doctrinal issues that concern us as a people.

As the regathering of Ephraim and Judah gets larger, so will the range of questions that need to be answered, especially since we come from varied religious backgrounds.

The Messianic Israel Forum will continually address more and more subjects that those seeking two-house truth have expressed an interest in having discussed.

In many cases, arguments will be presented from varying sides to an issue, with our goals being to seek a firm Biblical foundation.

While anyone may write a response, we will post only those postings that comply with the stated Forum Ground Rules. (We ask that you read these ground rules below before commenting.)

Forum Ground Rules

All postings must be concise and to the point, and they must stick to the subject at hand. The more brief and direct the better. (The Editor reserves the right to reproduce portions only of any submission.)

All who participate must seek to attain Biblical continuity, meaning, our beliefs and actions should reflect those of Holy Scripture: "Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, handling accurately the word of truth" (Psa 119:160; Jn 17:17; 2 Ti 2:15). (For any who might question the veracity of the "New Covenant," see Deu 18:18-19; Jn 17:8, 20-21;12:49-50; 4:25; 5:46-47; 8:28; 2:19-22; Isa 8:14; and the Herald, Is The "Greek" New Covenant Inspired? Is Yeshua Divine?)

All participants must "be diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace" (Eph 4:3). Any correction/exception must be presented "with all humility and gentleness, patience, showing tolerance for one another in love (Eph 4:2). We must "malign no one," but instead, "be peaceable, gentle, showing every consideration for all men" (Tit 3:2).

All intolerance, prejudice, pride, arrogance, self-righteousness and other unlovely traits must be put aside in this Forum: "For if anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself" (Gal 6:3). We must prefer arrival at the Father's truth above our being "right."

All who enter must do so in true humility, showing forth the fruits of the spirit (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control). We must prefer the love of the brethren above arrogantly letting the world know what we think about a particular subject (Pro 15:33; Gal 5:22-23; 1 Cor 13).
