Dear Messianic Israelite:
We want to remind both Judah and Ephraim of their heritage as a nation.
While the "dispersed" natural branches of the house of Judah have little problem in seeing themselves as part of the nation of Israel, many of Ephraim do have a problem realizing that, they too, are "joint heirs."
Ephesians 2:11 says of Ephraim, "Formerly they were Gentiles" (meaning those of the house of Joseph-Ephraim). However, if they were that in the past, the question is: what are they now? Verse 12 tells us that they are now Israelites, fully a part of the national commonwealth of Israel (the one promised to Abraham). And, because of that identity, they were (two-thousand years ago) re-introduced to the covenants of promise, the Torah, and to their biblical history as being part of the people of Israel (Isa. 8:14; Ez. 37:15-23). They are now one with Israel (Ez. 37:22; Eph. 2:15).
Together, both houses can share and rejoice in their redemption and restoration, not as a religious group, but as an authentic national entity, with one kingdom government head, Messiah Yeshua.
We welcome you to the wonderful world of faith. We pray that Messiah's love, grace, compassion and justice will rule in all our hearts, that it will be expressed through us by our love for one another.
May the God of our fathers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob bless you! May we see in our day the fulfillment and restoration of all that has been spoken by the prophets from of old (Acts 3:19-21).
This fulfillment and restoration requires that we truly become a nation in the midst of all the nations on this earth, and that we be a light to them. But, if we do not identify ourselves as citizens of this nation, the witness that Yahveh intended us to be will still be veiled in our lost national identity.
